What is RED-s?


💥RED-s stands for Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport. It is a syndrome that occurs when there’s not enough energy (fuel) to support both your training and your body’s basic functions.


💥 It’s not just about “eating less.” It’s a mismatch between energy intake and energy demand over time.

❤️Our Founder's Story❤️

Hi, I'm Florence, Founder of RED-Scue! I am a former Spanish national track athlete. I suffered from RED-s as an athlete from toxic coaching and a lack of awareness of energy deficiency. As a result, I tore my achilles and my meniscus which stopped my dreams of a D1 scholarship in the USA.

I founded RED-Scue to stop other athletes going down the same underfuelling/overtraining route I took by offering accessible, easy-to-eat energy restoration bites.
